NEW ONLINE STATE RESOURCE AVAILABLE
The Alan Guttmacher Institute (AGI) announces the launch of its Web based State Center, a centralized clearinghouse for state-specific information on sexual and reproductive health and rights issues. To access the latest targeted data, analysis and policy information, simply go to http://www.guttmacher.org/statecenter/ and click on your state.
The user-friendly State Center is also searchable by topic and contains information in the following subject areas:
• Abortion
• Law & Public Policy
• Pregnancy & Birth
• Prevention & Contraception
• Youth
The State Center houses state-specific fact sheets on abortion and contraceptive needs and services; data on teen pregnancy; graphic presentation tools showing 30-year trends in abortion; and State Policies in Brief, a series of fact sheets that reflect the most recent legislative, administrative and judicial actions on key issues affecting sexual and reproductive health and rights. It also offers a customized list of research articles, reports and policy analyses on each state and topic covered.
