Nina Grigoriev, Communications Associate
Nina Grigoriev works with other staff to enhance the Guttmacher Institute’s online communications and fundraising strategy and has primary responsibility for tracking the Institute’s online outreach. Ms. Grigoriev also helps identify innovative ways to improve the Institute’s Web site usability and promote the Institute’s work using online marketing, new dissemination channels and emerging technologies. She joined the Institute in January 2011 as the international communications associate working with developing country partners to communicate Guttmacher research to a range of overseas audiences, and transitioned into her new role in February 2013. Prior to joining Guttmacher, Ms. Grigoriev worked as the marketing director of several online advertising and technology firms in New York City. She is a founding member of The Charcoal Project, a clean energy nonprofit working in the developing world. Ms. Grigoriev is fluent in Russian and speaks advanced conversational Spanish. She holds a dual Bachelor of Science in Policy Analysis and Management and Human Development from Cornell University and a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.
