Melissa Martin, Communications Assistant
Melissa Martin joined the Guttmacher Institute’s communications team in September 2010. She manages Guttmacher’s inventory of publications and periodicals; coordinates electronic and hard copy dissemination of all Guttmacher materials; provides a full range of customer service for publication and subscription orders; and generally provides support to the Institute’s communications team. Prior to joining the communications team, Melissa served as the Institute’s receptionist/administrative assistant for four years. In that role, she worked closely with the communications team to create and maintain a database for managing subscriptions to the Institute’s journals and tracking requests for information and media citations. Melissa holds a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
