This slide presentation contains findings from the report “Unintended Pregnancy and Abortion in Uganda,” which analyzes data from Uganda’s 2011 Demographic Health Survey (DHS) and other recent research and enumerates the benefits that would result from increased investment in contraceptive services and expanded access to safe abortion services. It was originally presented by Cynthia Summers, of the Guttmacher Institute, in Kampala, Uganda on February 5, 2013.
