Protecting the Next Generation: Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health
The Protecting the Next Generation Program works to convince key decision makers to acknowledge and address young people’s sexual and reproductive health needs with regard to sex education, contraceptive access and counseling, and prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV. We document and analyze young people’s knowledge, concerns, preferences and behavior; examine and suggest evidence-based improvements to policies and programs; and communicate our knowledge to a broad audience including policymakers, health care providers, media, researchers and activists.
