• 32,230 women in need of publicly supported contraceptive services and supplies live in Alaska's at-large congressional district.

Meeting the Need

• There are 77 family planning clinics in Alaska's at-large congressional district. 15 are run by health departments, 40 are run by hospitals, 3 are run by Planned Parenthood, 12 are run by community health centers and 7 are run by other types of agencies.

• Together, these clinics serve 24,530 women, including 7,210 teenagers.* 45% are served by health departments, 34% are served by hospitals, 13% are served by Planned Parenthood, 4% are served by community health centers and 4% are served by other types of agencies.

The Key Role of Title X

• 16 of the family planning clinics in Alaska's at-large congressional district are supported by Title X. 2 are run by health departments, 10 are run by hospitals, 3 are run by Planned Parenthood, 0 are run by community health centers and 1 is served by an other type of agency.

• These Title X-supported clinics in Alaska's at-large congressional district serve 10,450 women, including 3,320 teenagers.* 48% are served by health departments, 14% are served by hospitals, 30% are served by Planned Parenthood, 0% are served by community health centers and 7% are served by other types of agencies.
