HIGHLIGHTS as of March 1, 2010

In February, Wisconsin Gov. Jim Doyle (D) signed a measure requiring that sex education be medically accurate, age-appropriate and teach students about both contraception and abstinence. (The previous law did not require any instruction about contraceptives, but did require that information on abstinence be stressed.) The measure went into effect in February.
