HIGHLIGHTS as of January 1, 2010
As of January 1, all new and renewed health plans in Wisconsin must cover contraceptive drugs and related outpatient services if the health plan covers other outpatient services, preventive treatment or prescription drugs. With the addition of Wisconsin, 27 states have contraceptive coverage mandates.
