Colette Rose joined the Guttmacher Institute in February 2016 as International Communications Manager and became Senior International Communications Manager in December 2016. In this role, Ms. Rose develops and implements strategies to maximize the reach of Guttmacher’s international research, and oversees the creation of a wide range of materials designed to communicate the Institute’s work to key audiences, including media, policymakers, advocates and service providers at country, regional and global levels. She also serves as the primary liaison with the Institute’s overseas communications partners. Before joining the Institute, Ms. Rose was a communications manager at Physicians for Reproductive Health, where she trained physicians in reproductive health media advocacy. Ms. Rose holds a BA from Connecticut College, where she majored in international relations and minored in Latin American studies. She received her MSc in political sociology from the London School of Economics.
