The recent report of the Guttmacher-Lancet Commission—a collaboration of 16 global health, development and human rights experts from around the world—puts forth a comprehensive, evidence-based and bold agenda to achieve universal access to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), including a recommendation to implement a package of essential SRHR interventions worldwide. This panel will discuss the report’s recommendations, highlight the costs and benefits of investing in SRHR, and explore areas for research, policy, advocacy and programs that advance this new SRHR agenda.
