Guttmacher and Columbia University have had a memorandum of understanding since 2005 to share ideas and staff. Guttmacher staff have adjunct faculty appointments at Columbia, and John Santelli of Columbia serves as a Senior Fellow at Guttmacher. Guttmacher and Columbia are also exploring the possibility of developing a joint research proposal.
