As of the end of January, legislatures in 45 states (AK, AR, AZ, CA, CT, CO, DE, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, ME, MA, MI, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI, and WY) and the District of Columbia were in regular session. Five state legislatures (AL, FL, LA, NV and OK) will convene later in the year.
