Bashiru Mohammed joined the Guttmacher Institute in 2022 as a Research Assistant I. His interests include adolescent sexual and reproductive health, contraceptive access, unintended pregnancy, abortion, reproductive justice and family planning service delivery in the United States and Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to joining the Institute, Mr. Mohammed worked for DKT International Ghana, first as a Sales and Program Coordinator and later as a Territory Sales and Programs Manager. He received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Ghana’s University of Professional Studies, Accra and is pursuing an MPH from Montclair State University.
