Cici Osias (she/her) joined the Guttmacher Institute in July 2023 as a Research Assistant I. Her areas of interest include sexual and reproductive health among LGBTQ+ populations, Black maternal mortality and reproductive justice. Prior to joining Guttmacher, Ms. Osias conducted research funded by the National Science Foundation on the relationship between sexual identity disclosure and self-esteem among young adults, as moderated by race and census region. She received her bachelor’s degree in sociology and French and Francophone studies at Brown University, where she wrote a qualitative honors thesis about sexual identity formation among queer youth.
