Talia Curhan (she/her) is a Policy Associate, State Issues based in Washington, DC. Ms. Curhan joined the Guttmacher Institute in 2023. She tracks and analyzes state legislation, updates Guttmacher’s interactive abortion map, and collaborates to produce weekly and monthly state policy updates. Previously, Ms. Curhan worked at Advocates for Justice and Education, leading the health equity project to support parents and families of children with disabilities and special health care needs. She has also worked to reduce human trafficking, improve nutrition and food access, and support mental health equity. She graduated from Brown University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in nutrition, psychology and human development.
