March 2005

Women of the World Affirm Their Rights

Reproductive rights are under attack. Will you help us fight back with facts?

Donate

In recognition of the 10th anniversary of the Beijing Platform for Action, a pledge made by the countries of the world to address discrimination against women and promote women's empowerment, more than 5,000 country representatives and womens rights advocates from around the world are convening at United Nations headquarters between February 28 and March 11 to discuss the global status of women.

On Friday, March 4, The Alan Guttmacher Institute will bring together delegates and nongovernmental representatives participating in the review process to highlight the critical importance of reproductive health services to women's empowerment. All are welcome.
