Allegra Udell

Allegra Udell joined the Guttmacher Institute in 2024 as Global Communications Manager. Ms. Udell became a Global Advocacy Knowledge Manager in 2026. In this role, Ms. Udell synthesizes evidence from Guttmacher's research programs in service of its global advocacy efforts to shift policy debate and mobilize action on sexual and reproductive health and rights. Ms. Udell brings more than four years of international communications and advocacy experience to the Institute, including almost two years at the United Nations Global Compact, where she produced stories and mobilization materials to encourage companies worldwide to align their operations with universal principles on human rights, labor rights, environmental stewardship and anti-corruption. She has a master’s degree in strategic communications from American University in Washington, DC.
