How Youth Advocates Make the Case for Safe Abortion Care

Our partners at ‪@IYAFP‬ are experts in global advocacy. Their Safe Abortion Advocacy Toolkit gives other youth organizers the tools they need to push stakeholders toward expanding access. Throughout the toolkit, they reiterate how critical evidence-based resources are to these conversations. 

That’s where Guttmacher's Safe Abortion Calculator comes in. Drawing on data from 117 low- and middle-income countries, it delivers real-time numbers on the cost and impact of investing in safe abortion care, giving youth advocates the language decision-makers respond to.
