Destiny Lopez and Jonathan Wittenberg (Co-Presidents and CEOs) thank supporters for helping Guttmacher reach its fundraising goal, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to generating evidence and defending reproductive freedom amid mounting challenges in 2025.

Transcript: Destiny Lopez: Hello, I'm Destiny Lopez. 

Jonathan Wittenberg: I'm Jonathan Wittenberg. We want to express our gratitude to everyone who gave so generously to the Guttmacher Institute this year. 

Destiny Lopez: Because of you, we were able to reach our annual fundraising goal to fuel our work ahead. 2024 has been a difficult year for all of us who believe in the right to bodily autonomy. The incoming administration will present boundless challenges. It is important we rise to meet them because we know that protecting fundamental sexual and reproductive rights, including access to abortion as essential health care, is critical for ensuring healthy, full reproductive lives and thriving communities. 

Jonathan Wittenberg: With you by our side, Guttmacher will generate the timely evidence that you and so many others are counting on us for and use it to fight for reproductive freedom in 2025 and beyond. 

Destiny Lopez: Democracy is not a process that works on its own. It requires all of us. It's in difficult times like these when we reaffirm our commitment to reproductive freedom and to each other.
