
Anna Popinchalk joined the Guttmacher Institute in 2014. Her work includes global research on sexual and reproductive health and rights, including unintended pregnancy and abortion. She is a member of the Secretariat of the Guttmacher-Lancet Commission and coordinated the research of the Commission report. She has co-authored papers in The Lancet, Lancet Global Health and BMJ Sexual and Reproductive Health. Ms. Popinchalk earned a BA in geography from Macalester College, and an MPH with a concentration in sexuality, sexual and reproductive health from Columbia University.
