
Kathleen Randall joined the Guttmacher Institute in 1993. As Director of Production, she manages the production phase of the Institute’s print and online content. She is responsible for the operations side of the Institute’s website and production of Guttmacher’s journals and special publications, which includes managing vendors and publishing platforms. Ms. Randall was a member of the core team that redeveloped the Institute’s website in 2015–2016. She has been a longtime member of the Institute’s Information Management Steering Committee and is currently leading a project to streamline publishing workflows across all content types.
Ms. Randall started her career as a graphic designer for 10 years, specializing in publication design and production. Following graduate school, she spent two years as the managing editor of an architecture trade publication before joining the Guttmacher Institute. Ms. Randall holds a BA in communications and fine arts from Washington State University and an MS in historic preservation/architectural history from Columbia University.
