By November, six state legislatures (MA, MI, NJ, OH, PA, WI) and the District of Columbia have convened their regular sessions. Thirty-seven legislatures (AK, AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DE, GA, HI, ID, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MD, MS, MO, MN, MT, NC, NE, NH, NM, NV, ND, NY, OR, RI, SC, SD, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, and WY) have adjourned their regular sessions.
