News Release
June 18, 2025

Join Guttmacher at IPC

The Guttmacher Institute is excited to participate in the 2025 International Population Conference (IPC), where leading scientists, policymakers and nongovernmental organizations from around the world will come together to explore the latest research on population trends and responses to today’s pressing issues, including sexual and reproductive health and rights. Hosted once every four years by the International Union for the Scientific Study of Population, the conference is being held in Brisbane, Australia from July 13–18, 2025.

There are many ways to engage with the Guttmacher team throughout the week:

  • Visit us at Booth #23–24 to meet Guttmacher experts and learn more about our current work. A selection of recent publications will be on display and available electronically.
  • Join us for two dynamic spotlight sessions—one showcasing new models measuring the impact of family planning on social and economic well-being and another introducing ACORCA, a new Africa-led regional coalition dedicated to improving research and communications on abortion. These informal sessions offer a unique opportunity for participants to engage directly with our research and partners.
  • Learn with us: Guttmacher researchers will also be leading panel discussions, presenting with research partners and giving poster talks on the social, structural and systemic factors shaping access to and experiences of abortion, contraception and reproductive autonomy across diverse global contexts.

Participate in these important conversations, stop by the booth and attend the IPC sessions listed below.

(All times are in Australian Eastern Standard Time.)
