The Guttmacher Institute’s work in the United States includes research on unintended and adolescent pregnancy, contraception and use of publicly funded family planning services, abortion incidence and funding, HIV and other STIs, and teens’ and adolescents' access to sex education and reproductive health services. The Institute also analyzes federal policies related to sexual and reproductive health and rights, as well as the impact of federally funded programs such as Title X, Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act.
