Contraception

Everyone deserves equitable and comprehensive access to the contraceptive method of their choice without barriers, stigma or shame. The Guttmacher Institute conducts research and policy analysis on contraceptive use and access, including highlighting the need for public investment in high-quality, affordable and accessible contraceptive services.

Given ongoing political attacks on people’s ability to make their own reproductive health decisions, it is essential to ensure that people can access their preferred contraceptive methods through their preferred sources of care, without cost sharing or other barriers.
